Advice needed

Hey guys I am new to redfishing and will be taking a boat down to Charleston this weekend, would anyone mind PMing me some spots to try, I’ll go anywhere I can catch some fish. I only catch and release by the way.

Thanks God bless

low tide is early in the morning this weekend…I would suggest launching at daybreak, find some creek mouths, oyster banks or channel ledges and fish a live shrimp or mud minnow under a cajun thunder cork or the same on a carolina rig on the bottom…what part of Charleston are you going to be in? there are literally 82,182 different places to fish from Kiawah to Isle of Palms and up the Ashley, Cooper and Wando…

My god…

ps this isn’t advice being asked for…this is asking blatantly for fishing spots…

what a maroon.

dude cmon hes a starting member, maybe he didn’t know any better, but they’re are tons of redfish spots. Generally people will not gee you their spots but an old timer told me once their is no honey holes just the right time and right tide. I dunno where you are going but you could try grillage in the harbor, coordinates are on dnr’s website, also dynamite hole by the jetties coord also on dnr site. Fish structure, pilings, oyster beds, anywhere a predator might lay with gulp shrimp or jerk shad. Mudminnows are hot right now for reds, let them swim no weight or put them under a cork either slip or popping. Ill pm you details on a good spot
