So short of the story is that I’m in need of a bail assembly for my 6000 series shimano spheros… dang thing snapped on me
I’ve done a bit of research online and the best I can find is $55 for a new assembly. I’d like to find a more affordable route…
Any thoughts on going bail-less? Those kits run around $30 from what I saw. I’ve never fished with anyone with a bail-less reel so I’m clueless in that regards honestly. I use this reel offshore for trigs and stuff like that so that’s a factor
Any input is appreciated
Take it to Steve at Haddrells.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.
If Steve doesn’t have it take it over to west ashley and ask Seth if you can go through the warranty reel bin for parts. Pretty sure there are plenty of complete reels in there that are just disassembled/broke. Good place to start.
I talked to Seth and I’m taking it by this weekend. Part has been discontinued but he said there were some options we could talk about
SUPER nice guy on the phone and very helpful. Great customer service for sure!

If neither of them have or can get it, try www.ricksreelservice.com. He is a really good guy and may be able to find one.
“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”, but really, who cares?
Seth is a wizard with reels and got me fixed up. Great group of guys down there, MUCH appreciated!
