Have only had seatow. Never dealt with tow boat u.s.
Out of charleston is one better than the other? What are the differences between the two?

Just like you, I only have experience with SeaTow. However, I don’t see anyway Tow Boat US could be better than SeaTow given the experiences I’ve had. I’ve had to use see Cho twice since becoming a member and both were excellent experiences (given the circumstances). Once was for a simple stranding, when I let the time get away from me and the tide went out, and the second time it was for a much more complicated situation that I won’t get into detail about. On both occasions the captains were prompt, professional, and went the extra mile to help us out when we needed it most. Again, I have nothing against Tow Boat US, but I couldn’t ask for anything more than what SeaTow has delivered.

If it a’int broke, don’t fix it!! Never thaught about changing.
If you are happy with ST why change. I happen to be a Towboat member. I have had to use them twice, both times the response times were fantastic and the Captains were courteous and professional. I have met the Towboat owner in Charleston a couple of times and I can say he is a really nice guy and seems to really care about his customers. Compare what they both provide, costs, etc… TB has worked great for me.

Both are first class professional outfits who will do what they say. I wouldn’t say either of them is better than the other. I’d pick either one over none. I use Sea Tow, but they both will get you home.
