Fished up to the GT hole. Had a fun group with Dr Perry Tucker and friends. Caught 20 gaffers, 1 cobia(yes in 180ft), 1 king, 2 blackins, a 60lb wahoo and 5 cudas.
The wahoo was the last fish and it about dumped my bridge pole. We got it in the box. 2 hours later and 20miles from the rocks i hear the charter scream. I big wave came and knocked the fish right out of the box. NEVER in my 20 years of fishing has this happened. i was speachless. I daymaker GONE… I am soory fellas. Anyways thanks for a great time.

I’m calling BS on the whole cedar plug claim…nice try for the tackle shops, but I know you’re not pulling anything but med-small ballys an small skirts and small leaders 'cause I’ve cut close enough to see…Shame on Agressor for the mislead…maybe good for laughs, but not cool…
I guess you know what I pull. Good luck. Pull cedar plugs, pull treble hooks, pull black barts, pull pakoulas, I dont care. If you are calling me a liar then just tell me so to my face. I guess that I will keep my mouth shut and not type anything or give any reports. Conditions change and we change our spread as needed. Thank you and continue giving us your reports.
Seriously…I had my cedar plug out for a few minutes and it got bit and then another fish bit the swivel… people have used them for a long time in many parts of the world…it’s not like they do not work or something…
Ho now, just pokin’ a little fun, let’s keep it light, My apologies… we’ve never had a strike on a cedar plug, and for the record I did charter the old boat a couple years back…and no there were no cedar plugs on board that particular day…numerous tuna on light wind on leaders with small skirts…whatever works, all I can say is it’s not the boat, it’s the crew and the baits…

Nice report.
Most charter capts. are happy to give good advice. It is a shame when they bullschit the weekend warriors.
I’ve really enjoyed reading Aggressor’s reports on a daily basis - I, for one, appreciate a charter captain that takes the time to share his log with the recreational fisherman.(most won’t) And as far as ceder plugs catching fish- where I grew up in Hatteras Village, NC it was the plug of choice for many years with such great charter captains as Capt.Ernal Foster(the Albatross fleet), Capt Clam Stowe (Lil Clam) and Capt.Dud Burrus(the Jackie Faye), some of the greatest sport fishing crews that ever fished on the eastern seaboard.
FISH YOUR OWN SPREAD… more than one thing caTCHES FISH…I HAVE AND HAVE NOT USED CEDAR PLUGS AND MANY THINGS WORK IT IS CONDITIONS AND LOCATION, SPEED, DISTANCE FROM THE BOAT, TONE OF THE MOTORS, AND MANY OTHER THINGS THAT RAISE FISH AND DRAW STRIKES…DON’T ASK ME TO TELL YOU MY SPREAD EVERYTIME I COME HOME…THE MAN IS TRYING TO RUN A BUSINESS

Wow, you are the reel thing. Now how about humming a verse or two of “Bringing in the Clowns”
