We have been doing alot of half days and 3/4 day charters. There are lots of kings, AJ’s and cudas around the wrecks. Aggressor III has a full day tommorrow so hopefully we will have a report. Both boths have full day charters this weekend. Please call Heather in the office if interested. 8556-9938

Runey, is it the high fuel prices and increased rates or the lack of a consistent catch of meatfish(by all boats) that is causing the decrease in full day charters?

Big Dan,
It has been a combination of lots of things this year. Of course $4 to $5 fuel doesn’t help. Also yes it has been a down year. In almost 100 days of fishing here we haven’t caught the first yellowfin. That is very poor. Also last year we tagged over 300 dolphins for Don Hammond and this year we have tagged around 30.
Sailfishing has been good and I hope it continues this fall. Atleast the kings, cudas and AJ’s are showing up so you can bend the pole if you need to.
