Airborne trout

I am still pretty new to the site, but wanted to share my trip to Buck Hall this past Saturday morning (11-9-13).

Put the boat in just as the sun came up, what an awesome view the best therapy I know anyway! Headed south to a nice spot that seems to produce well when the tide is coming in around an oyster bed. When I got there I saw some Reds hitting what I think were mud minnows(which was my bait of choice), really got my heart racing as usual! First cast in and the cork went down with a puppy red on the end of the line. After the water started moving a little quicker the trout really turned on. I was really excited with how aggressive the trout were, hitting minnows almost instantly, coming out of the water etc. I even had two of my buddies hooked up with fish at the same time, several times. Left the fish biting and only kept a couple for some dinner one day soon. I usually never keep the fish I catch but those trout sure were fat, couldn’t pass it up this time!

I’m really glad I could get out there before it gets TOO cold! Special thanks to all the veterans out there also!

Welcome to the site! Starting off nicely!
