Thanks for viewing this post. Can anyone recommend a mechanic for an old air-cooled VW? I may be acquiring a classic VW bug from a family member and it will need a good tune-up. I live in Mt P.

Not in Charleston but, if you can’t find anyone good down that way, I have a great guy in Columbia…works on all types but has specialized in VW’s forever. He has been a friend for many years and is not only a great mechanic but one of the most honest people I know. Let me know if you need/want contact info.

European Road and Racing services VW (along with Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes, and Porsche). I know them more for their BMW work, but give them a call and check.
