Albright Fly Reels

Anybody ever fished one? The GP’s are 40% off on the Albright website. They look pretty nice. Just curious if anyone had experience with them.

The Albright gear is quality stuff, however the GPX is more suited for saltwater use over the GP, if your interested give me a shout and I’ll cut you the same deal on a GPX.

Anyone else interested? I’ve also got a couple of 8 & 9 weight combos!

Thanks, but I already ordered mine.

I may be intersted in an 8 wt combo. What do you have?

Hey Winyah, how was your second split? He had some success and good numbers on the Black river, but things were kind of slow at the Delta. We also got some good footage. One morining I had a couple of woodies coming in, shot the drake and had him fall into the blind and just hang in the grass. We got the whole thing on tape, it was kind of cool.

I’ve got the EXS as well as the LT rod series as well as both size GPX reels.

Whats up Chad, 2nd spit was OK. We has some standout days here in Georgetown, but nothing spectacular. I am having much better luck with the fish. Give me a shout if you ever want to get some good redfish footage.

Jay, that sounds great. We are actually filming in the Lowcountry for “Carolina Reds.” I know, we have no originality giving our previous titles in the Carolina Ducks films. Brooks, intends to enter the film in AEG’s fly-fishing film festival. He has already hired a couple of people to write the music for the film and so far it sounds really good. The entire film will be based on fly fishing for reds in South Carolina. It will be similar to some of the stuff we filmed for Conquering The King, here is the trailer if I had not emailed you the link prior:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9pPYUZmhfY. I really have only fished the Charleston area for reds, so if you typically fish in and around Georgetown and would be interested in doing a little fishing and filming, send me an email.

Lets plan to do it sometime…it would probably be more film-worthy if we waited for the tailing tides.

Jay, you have mail.
