@Ricky. This is the opportunity our family has been working towards for the last 17 years or so. I landed a job flying for FedEx. So I am now a real grown up boy, with a real grown up job! My quality of life will be exponentially better if we move to the Memphis area, verses staying here in Charleston. We love this city, and it’s hard to leave, but in the face of being with my family more than I have ever been in my life, we can’t pass it up. So, I now have to find a Bass Tracker, buy some rubber worms, and re-learn lake and river fishing! Going back to my roots! We will be living in the very north of Mississippi, just below Memphis.
You don’t have to buy a bass tracker and rubber worms. You can still saltwater fish. Striper. In fact your not far from the best stretch of trophy striper fishing in the country. Cumberland river. Only reason to fish for something smaller then four pounds is if your gonna use it for bait.

Thanks guys. So many of you have been a part of making this guy the part-time fishing giant that I became! LOL! I appreciate the well wishes.
@Reeldawg - I also saw that there are some bodies of water in central and eastern TN that hold Muskie!! I’m looking forward to learning all that TN has to offer, in the way of gilled animals!

Congratulations. Best wishes.
X2!!
I was hoping you weren’t getting stuck in Minot. That would suck!!
I’ve fished in most every state in the southeast when I tournament fished. Tennessee is a fishermans paradise. The wildlife department up there actually gets money and cares about the freshwater fisheries. It’s a big money maker for them and they realize it. Friend of mine went striper fishing up there this week. Caught six fish smallest was 22# and the biggest was 38#. Yes. They have a strong musky fishery on the build also. You won’t be disappointed. You might end up with an aluminum boat with jet outboard.

Congratulations Adam. You deserve it. One of the last great family men left! Of all the places to be relocated to, Memphis is a pretty great one. I wish you and the family the best.
Adam, wish I could make an offer on your fishing stuff, but I would personally like to offer the most bestest greatest wonderfulest to you and your family…as a Vet, I salute you…as a member of CF.com, I’ll shake your hand…but your duty to your family outweighs all of this, and to that, well, there is nothing finer…Godspeed my friend…
