Have not fished much this winter, but got out this morning. First flat was empty, second one was full. First 5 casts netted 3 fish and then they just shut down. Followed them around for an hour with not even a sniff. Went onto 4 more vacant flats and then headed home.

We had a school shut down yesterday… switched flies and it was on again… they shut down again, we switched flies again and it was on again…
get creative with your bait choice/color and have fun figgerin out what they wanna eat… We haven’t found a school yet that we couldn’t get to eat…
