All Rise 25-Jun-13 late report (pics & video!)

He slings in to the driveway at 6am like Dale Jr sliding through the grass at Daytona and jumps out of the car! “I got everything you told me to bring plus some!” I like it! You are 15 mins early and brought me hot breakfast?! The newest official member of team All Rise “Rubbin it In”!

Add a few things to the boat fire up the F250s and let the Simrad come to life. Judge steps on board, rods are rigged, cooler is packed, fish box ice is in place! All we need is the bait… Bait? Where is Pross? He is bringing the bait and is 45mins late… After some ribbing Pross and Mrs. Coach Ross step on board.

Game plan in place we were going to meet up with Brianh in his boat and team Spit Decision in theirs. Mother nature was not happy to see us as we headed into a 2 to 3 then built to 3 with some 4s straight head sea. After 30 mins of this made the call to change course a bit and take them more in the beam than the nose. Made it to 65 feet and came across a beautiful weed-line. One side was rough as snot and the other was near slick. Pushed the throttles up, and let the autopilot drive the rest of the way while I sat with my arms crossed and listened to the radio.

Lines in on a beautiful rip and it was on!! Well not really… it was S L O W! Fished almost 2 hours before the first knock down then finally got a dolphin in the box around lunch time.

Action started to pick up and we picked at them for a couple hours.

Pross and Rubbin it in did great running the spread and made the most out of the strikes we had.

Coach Ross was catching on fast and made the comment, “I want to gaff a fish!” Pross says fish number 10 is yours…

fish number 10…

we only had 3 in the box at this point but this was going to be some foresh

How do you get on the wait list to be the next new member of the team?

Well written, well executed, great pictures. As usual.
BG

Good job, Scott and crew! Cool narrative and pics as usual.

“I’m not a hundred percent in love with your tone right now…”

love the one pic of “the point” :stuck_out_tongue: funny stuff right there

good job on the fish

“mr keys”

Tell the judge I would like to be jumped to the head of the wait list line!

Pross looks like my German Shorthair pointer!

We came at it from all angles. I came from Charleston, Split D from Georgetown and ya’ll from Murrells Inlet and yet we all fished within 5 miles of each other.

Here’s our daymaker. He weighed in at 45lbs.

Thanks on the fish.

I like your Charleston fishing name. I thought you would have picked something like “beentheredonethat” but I guess that’s too long!

I suggested “Rubbin it out” but his wife was not on board with that.

It will be interesting to see what boat he buys. He has looked at every 23 to 26 footer this side of the Mississippi. Funny how some people don’t seem to want to sell even though they paid to list their boat.

Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!

You need to take this picture down! You can see the rip we were on in the back ground! That is a secret spot! What if someone recognizes it and goes back to our fish!

Nice fish boys, my crew won’t take me fishun no more! They say shut up, punch holes in the water and make bubbles!

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

Not bad day considering the head mate was not on the boat!#128515;

Poor fish looks like it was shot in the head :)…nice video.

They’ll be doing good if they find that rip again. I went back 12 hours later and couldn’t find it.
