I concur. Spearing produces no by-catch, and is very selective. However, a very select few on each side of the aisle, spearo’s and fisherman give the whole bunch bad names. Its sad. Thanks guys.
Scoutin to be honest we had 2 lobster, flonder, and one snapper, and 11 grouper, and we only made 2 dives!

This could have been photoshopped. The only way that I could personally verify this story is to see a picture of Kent’s girlfriend in a bikini. If I saw that, I might be inclined to believe all of this…

Uh… yea if she was wearing that not sure we would have been so eagar to jump over board.
I told her that I remembered the days my girlfriend would go fishing and diving with me. I asked that girl to marry me, she said “I do” and she was done with that.

I am going to be pressed to pull Friday off but we will see. I appreciate your cause Yellabird but the weather is iffy at best and if you recall I have alittle issue with my port motor but who needs reverse anyway.
FLOORED good to see you finally joined. You will add a bunch of good info to this site. Just watch out for some of the locals they can be quite aggravating at times but the silent majority appreciates good advise.

Well b/c I’m stuck behind this desk all day now – not as much as I like. Over the past year maybe 20 dives on 5 separate trips. I’ve lived in Charleston all my life, (except when I joined the Air Force to see the world and they sent me to all the way to GEORGIA!) I’ve dove in some of the best dive locations on this side of the world and yet have only dove offshore Charleston once in my life. We did a ledge in 110’ and I was very impressed. I never thought diving here would be so good. While I’m happy to sling some steel with you, I’m equally as happy just to tag along as a safety diver or photographer.
