One mag. No box, manuals, paperwork etc. Just gun, mag, and hogue grip that’s on it. I got it to attempt to pocket carry. This one just didn’t work out how I hoped. Don’t think I can pocket carry unless maybe I try a LCP or Keltec 380.
This is the LC9 (9mm), but they frequently have the LCP (380) for $199.99. Very easy to carry and for $200, you don’t get your feelings hurt when it gets scratched/bumped/bruised.

Yeah, they had it up for $199 this morning actually. It’s showing out of stock now last I looked. I just keep floundering around on the LCP, I haven’t committed myself to it yet. I want to try it but really don’t like at all how it feels in the hand. But seems to be the lightest and most reliable of the micro pocket pistols.

I really like my Kel Tec .380 for what it’s worth. It always fits a pocket.

I’ll be honest with you, it is difficult for me to be the most accurate with it and it doesn’t have great capacity, but if you ever found yourself in a situation where you had to use it, I trust it to function. I can’t feel a difference when I’m carrying it and when I’m not. Its that light. There are several online reviews that have had issues with these guns from the manufacturer with Failure to Fire/Failure to eject spent casings. Worth a read before you buy. Mine never has given me issues, but I disassembled mine and fine polished everything just in case. Its important that the feed ramp be smooth and have no burrs. From reading all the online reviews, it seems like that’s the culprit of the FTFs.
I’ve got a few you can shoot with me someday if you’d like. Me and the guys usually go shooting at my place once every few weeks when its not deer season.
And that Hogue grip makes a big difference to how it sits in my hand. $20 on ebay.

I bought an LCP a few months ago. Put it in a Sticky holster and drop it in my back pocket. I can keep a 4" group at 12 yards more or less. The truth is, if you are shooting much over 10-15’, you may have a hard time arguing self-defense. .380 isn’t going to stop a bear but, a.380 in hand beats any larger caliber left at home. It is a nice, well-made little pistol, especially for $200.
Ditto on the Hogue Grip. I got mine for around $10 from this place.
I have a Kel-Tec as well and for what it’s worth, the Ruger just feels/looks better and shoots better for me.

Dfreedom, question about the Hogue grips, do they get stuck trying to get the gun out of your pocket? Also, have you tried them on your Keltec?

LCP is a great gun. I, too, am not terribly accurate with it, but I trust it to function when I need it to.
In stock and ready to ship (free shipping) at $199. No taxes either. Just a simple visit to my garage to fill out your paperwork, and a $20 bill later (less for first responders!!), and you’re pocket carrying.

My wife used to carry a LCP and I carried a Keltec, both .380. They are almost identical but the Ruger has better fit and finish. Neither of them were terribly accurate and both had long and creepy trigger pulls. But they are made for close in defense, not for target shooting. As DF said, if you’re further than 30’ you might have a hard time arguing self defense. From that distance, run, escape, evade…
When Ruger came out with the LC9S I traded my Keltec in on one and I loved it. Very accurate and a very sweet trigger. My wife shot it and said she wanted it. I told her I’d order her one on Monday. She said no, I want that one, you better order you one on Monday. So it goes
So now we both carry the LC9s. Only a little larger than the LCP but a much better shooter, and 9mm ammo is much cheaper than .380. We shoot a lot so that makes a difference.

I have not found that the Hogue grip hinders me drawing the weapon.
On another gun note. Is anyone familiar with or have any experience with the Sccy CPX-2? I have read reviews and the only negative I read is long trigger pull. I have held one and must say that it feels like a well-built pistol. It is 9mm and holds 10 rounds and I can get one for less than $250. Not a fan of buying something I haven’t/can’t shoot first so just wondering.

I’ve transferred THREE of them to the same guy in the past 6 months. He RAVES about them. I have yet to shoot one, but agree with you on the way it feels.

The Kahr is pending. Other two are still available. Have had some offers and trade offers but nothing worthy of letting them go yet

DF, I have a few compact carry guns and elect to carry the SCCY 2. I have polished everything that I could get to. The gun has never failed to fire, feed or eject a case. It is very lite for a double stack and feels good in my hand. I carry it in a Wild Bill’s Paddle holster and can wear it under a T-shirt.
I had a couple Kel-Tec 9s and the Ruger. The key word is had. I would buy this one again if needed but with the warranty I do not see why I would need to. They will replace it if stolen and there is a police report and a transferrable life time warranty.
I have mixed a magazine with all different types of reloads and some screwed up rounds and had NO problem running the magazine. The trigger is not bad for a double strike double action (like my S&W 640 and 642) but it does have a LONG reset.

There is also a Youtube video of them dropping the gun off a roof and running over it with a truck and the guns still worked.

Thanks, that is good to know. Like I said, have held one and was impressed with the fit and finish. May have to add one to my future buy list.

Kahr is sold. FNX and Glock are still for sale or trade. Trade interest updated.

Updated. Only the G31 left. I’ve acquired a shield and a M&P pro series. Wide open to consider any trades now.

Andy,
Since you sold me a great boat I’ll give you my 357 sig ammo I have if you’re ever over my way. I have about 30 fmj rounds that I won’t be using. I’ll extend that to whoever buys Andys gun locally. Not a ton of ammo but free 357 sig isn’t a bad thing. .

I really appreciate the offer Ryan. Actually just traded it off last night for a 1911 from someone off Armslist.
Everything is gone. These sat pretty idle for 2 weeks, and for some reason got blown up all weekend on trade offers. Apparently this was the weekend to sell/trade firearms.
