How is all of the rain going to affect the shrimping this weekend? Does it push the bigger ones out or does it even matter?
thanks,

this will mainly be a coastal event so it will be diluted quickly…not as much fresh water running down the rivers as an inland event…I don’t think this will matter very much…
EDIT: sorry, after re-reading your post, yes, this could affect shrimping for the next few days, but overall I don’t think it will be a big deal…

They will all be flushed over to Crab Bank…![]()
I don’t know about everywhere but this amount of rain will flush shrimp out of Wadmalaw Sound, full moon will give em a helping hand on the outgoing tide, this is the only place I’ve ever shrimped and have seen it many times since baiting first started.I live couple hundred yards from Toogoodoo landing and we’ve had over 3" last night and today.
You can’t catch fish on a dry line
i welcome it…the water in Bulls Bay and Cowpens was way clearer than I like…
I dont think it will help bulls bay.
