All White Topwater Spook Jr

Was shopping the other day and picked up an all white Spook, Jr. Haven’t caught a fish on the old reliable green top/silver bottom in a year.

The all white has the trout all worked up and landed a fatty tonight after he missed it the first two times…anyone else having luck wit this color?

Not that my word means much for Charleston area, but I use an all white Skitter Walk down here in SWFL when I want to get trout on top water action. This color is also known to catch its fair share of snook too (again doesn’t mean much for your area).

I have a solid off-white “bone” color Spook that I’ve used for years to catch trout and reds on the TX gulf coast, SE GA/NE FL, and here. Sometimes the simple patterns are the best.

Haven’t used it in a while, guess I’ll have to pull it out next time I go fishing!

Some people swear by white, or “bone” colored lures. I like them sometmes when the waters a bit dingy or if it’s overcast.

bone ss jr is a great plug!

If i could only have one color spook it would be bone. No doubt about it!
