Almost a limit 7/25 Murray

Albert and I were night fishing again this past Wednesday. Wonderful night, water calm with breeze out of the South. Rather strange fishing scenario. We didn’t find a pattern and fished from 7PM till 6 AM. Caught 3 downlining in Jakes’ creek, 19-23 inches. Moved down to the towers around midnight and stayed till 3 AM. Caught three more 20-24 inches. Didn’t know that we were set up on the very spot a 30 lber was caught night before as told to us by Richard when he came by looking for bait. Left anyway and trolled till daylight and caught 3 more 18-22 inches. All in all 9 in the boat but it took 11 hours to get them in the ice box…fish were scattered everywhere. Nothing like our 7/8 trip where we had 60 lbs of stripers in 3 fish but still it was fun to put them in the cooler.
