I’ve been use the 8 foot stick it anchor pin for about a year now and it truly is an amazing product. It has never once pulled on me. Today I made it an even better product by filing out the slots in the swim platform. Just an idea for people that are already using them or thinking about buying one. No need to spend between $70.00 TO $135.00 for their brake system. Just a quick heads up to try and save some people a few dollars. It took less then two minutes to do as well.
That’s a pretty slick and time saving solution. Sharing with my dad who was trying to decide where to mount his Stick-It-Pin mount. I understood that the longer rope that you tied it off to the less resistance and therefore it was more likely to hold position. We’ve been using a 6’ leash. Have you had any trouble staking out close to the boat?

It held just as good as the 6’ leash.
That’s a good idea. Do you use it as a stand alone anchor or do you also throw out your main anchor and use the pin to keep the boat in position?
