We were able to get 7 or 8 Mullet with a cast net in the creek, and then headed out around 7am. Stopped at C Bouy to sabiki some cigar minnows. No luck!!! Saw a jillion of them, but only hooked one cigar and two mystery fish in 25min.
Headed out to Comanche and caught one nice King in about 1 1/2 hrs live baiting. Also had a baracuda hit. (Cut the poor mullet in 1/2) One other knockdown.
Headed to ledge and immediately boated a barracuda in 150’ of water. Three more dolphin in the next three hours. Real slow trolling ballyhoo. Dolphin were all caught in 130’.
Home by 5pm. Nice day.
