Amberjack? Spanish? Spades?

Anyone interested in heading out with me to fish for Amberjack on the fly? Just curious as I’ll be going a good bit over the next few weeks and will need a few extras on the phone list. I’m not a fly fisher, but enjoy watching others catch them on the fly. The spanish, spades, cudas, and cobia will be showing up to really soon. Also, the freshwater striper bite will be crazy in a couple more weeks. Again, just trying to see if anyone is interested in it.

they’re alot of fun… but catch one or two and you’ll be over it pretty fast… a little too much like work for my taste…

lol

I prefer the cobia… at least after I sweat and grunt to land him I can repay him by stabbing him in the face and eating him…

Good luck boys…

If there’s room for 3, count me in. Ill bring the yeti stocked full of the choice of the day’s beverage and gas money. I just wanna get out there. I am off for a full 10 days starting May 4th. My father owns a 28 foot scout, but being the tax preparer that he is, he never has time to take it out except around the 4th so any equipment needed, my hands can get on.

give me a shout 843-509-2426, names Trey

Also interested…though biggest fly rod I have is an 8 wt. Not sure if that will cut it but I have some spin gear, too.

I can bring ice snacks and food…i am underage so beverages are in yalls hands. I sure can tie a bunch of flies that would work for targeting these species. Going in the Charleston Angler once every two weeks or so and playing 2o questions has taught me alot about fly tying!

For spanish mackerel the flies are fairly easy I just tie something that resembles a glass minnow…white clouser, white ep baitfish, ect.
