Anchor galvinizing

Ok I need a few opinions… I just obtained a Delta anchor CHEEP and in pretty good shape. My only concern is the it appears that some of the galvanized coating is flaking off… as I understand it, galvanized metal is just steel with a protective coating… So I took the anchor and had it sand blasted, and it cleaned up nicely… I bought some galvanized spray… has anyone ever used this or heard anything about it… any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated

we use around here from time to time
its better than paint, but not nearly as good, as hot dipped galvanized
