We braved the seas and had a very memorable day. 12 wowies, 1 sail, 1 wahoo, and 2 trophy kings. classic teaser bite from the sailing fish, and we were able to switch her to a tld 25. it was something else to back down w/ those seas. everyone had their own daymaker moment. wa4phy got the forecast right, as usual. got some interesting looks pulling back into the slip.
best part was that we didn’t have to wash the boat, that was pretty much taken care of by the squall.
won’t forget this day…

wow
it was a really bad forecast, you got to really love fishing to go out in a day like today!!!
glad to see you made it back,
FV
Congrats Daniel to you and Robert for getting out and back safely and for teasing up the sail. How big was it out there? At 9am the bouy called it 6ft at 6 secs. Now it’s 11.5’. Sounds like it was a bit “sporty”.

you guys are gnarly. how did you get fonzie off the couch?
Were you guys the only ones out there? I talked to someone else that said they were going out.
Fish-n-Kid
I fish alot more than you.
There was a decent wave out there… might have been a bit over 8 foot by the time we picked up. Saw the coasties, one boat headed back toward the rocks in the AM, one other boat leaving, that was it.
