Another Big Red bites the dust! (late)

Just got around to posting, been fishing every day that the weather is right. Here is another big ARS (27 lbs, 12 ounces on a Trident scale) taken in 100’ The grouper bite was on as well that day with a 16 lb red grouper as the biggest. The Snapper was a male by the way, as were the last three 20+ lb fish I have taken. So much for the Bull$^&* science from the chaps at the SAFMC.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the folks managing the offshore fishery cared about that sort of scientific information as much as us fishermen/women and our state DNR do?

I believe I would classify that one as a mule, Paul. Somebody’s scale would have to show over 30lbs! Nice fish.

Did not know you were as sensitive as us cavemen.Cute jab with the Boga remark.Never have had a reason to stretch the truth and it was weighed on a certified scale.Next time Ill make sure to take a pics of our fish on a “Trident” scale so it gets your approval there CF clique.Go “back to basics” for a true scale pic. Sorry if I hurt your feelings with the scale remark.They are nice fish.
