another big tuesday

We gave it the big shot today, started troll at commanche and scored kings on yellow and green swimming plugs at 6 knots on a 120 heading. 1 small (30in) and 1 med (45in) then score mahi on feathers (boone’s pink/white & green/yellow) within 5 miles of the crowd. going big, we went out looking for the weedline. scattered sargasso around 165ft south ledge but with no action except for the big little tunny that hit the pink/black cedar plug.
ran back to 130ft and trolled some more towards Garden with nada. then went to capers reef and chummed up a monster oyster toad (trash tourney anyone?) looked at bouys for cobes but again nathan. huge reed patches in jetties and harbour. What’s hanging around those?
Daymaker (maybe) double spanish macks (24") on sabiki rig at #3 bouy -and-
quad 6" seabass on sabiki (all released)

count
1 lizardfish
4 small seabass
2 kings
2 mahi
1 big ltl tunny
1 6# oyster toad (I was scared, very scared)

Got to the ledge in a 23’ whaler 225 optimax and back on 80 gallons, full load with conservative 20-25kt speeds.
