Went out to a pretty flat ocean. Bait was tough to get due to them being spread out. Did find a bait pod finally along the beach. Picked up a few Spanish searching for bait with spoons. Hit a few nearshore reefs to find plenty of sharks and little activity of kings. Trolled back towards jetties and my son hooked into his first king. He was a happy and tired fella when we got fish in the boat. Definitely another proud dad moment! I think he is hooked!
