Another Great Trout Day

Warm conditions, and fish chewing, its hard staying in the house!Caught and released 60+ Trout! Top water only produced 9 or so fish today. Casting was also slow, so trolling was the main producer today.I covered about 12 miles of river fishing today! Areas that produced yesterday were dead today!

I have never trolled for trout, any pointers? I went out on folly on Sunday and got 2 small trout on the trout trick. Bait has been hard to come by and I would like to try something different.

Find a spot with current and shallow hard bottom…Anchor and throw upstream and let the tide carry it…Incoming where they pass through…Once you find the path get hooked.

Cool. I love fishing “Stories”.

You guys troll with the big motor or the trolling motor? Do you let the grub stay on the bottom or bounce it up and down?

Planning on going Veterans Day.
