I just wanted to add to the list of people that have complimented Chris V. and Charleston Marine. I have had nothing but bad experiences in the past dealing with various shops. After reading the recommendations from posters on here I decided to take my boat to Chris. Let me tell you that I could not be happier. After a short stay at the shop I had my boat back and ready for the water. I took the boat out for it’s maiden voyage (post carb. rebuild) and couldn’t believe the difference. The boat fired up on the first crank, and I had to keep looking back to make sure it was running because it was so quite and smooth. I have a loud Merc. 2 stroke!!! Anyway, while on the water the boat ran great, but did stall a couple of times when I put it in neutral. Called Chris up, brought it in, and he had a mechanic look at it immediately. A couple of adjustments and she is ready for the water again. Hard to find good people like that these days and wanted to share my great experience.
