1998 Merc 225. This is an electrical problem of sort. The motor is new (this past summer). Tilt goes up fine but will not go back down. Tried at the motor and the helm. Any suggestions?

There are 2 selonoids that operate the trim motor, one is burned out! Try swapping the two. I change mine whole trim unit to the older type caus I had so much trouble with it! Good luck hops this fixes it.
