I had that bug several years ago and bought a few here and there. They now sit in my garage for looks. If u get serious, look at the Georgetown wooden boat show this fall or check out their Facebook page.

Teak is at an all time high as far as market is concerned, limited supply with high demand, driving costs extremely high in comparison to where it has been in years past.
Not all boats use teak but it is the best match for it. Just incase you are looking at a fixer upper that involves teak, definitely something to keep in mind.

Learned to ski on a boat like that one in the early 50’s. Had a buddy in high school who daddy had one and we run the DS out of it with a lot of PBR’s! Good times.
