I make handles out of whitetail antlers for knives and oyster shuckers. I am currently running low on my antler supply. If you have a box full of sheds or antlers from deer that you have killed and not mounted, I would love to trade you a knife or knives for them. Below are a few pics of some that I have done.
StumpNocker,
The blades come from different sources. I do not hand make the blades. It really just depends on what you want. The supplier I use can get just about anything you want. With that being said, all the oyster knives are stainless, the regular knives that I do are stainless 99% of the time. I have done a few different types, but mostly stainless. These are the specs on the stainless skinning and fillet blades that I mostly use. Stainless: HRC 57

Sounds good! I will be in touch! You will prolly get more knifes to build then you’ll wanna build soon enough! Hope I get my order in before you get too busy lol
pitviper,
The knife pictured with that sheath is $60. The knife is $40 and the sheath is $20. If you have some antlers to trade, we could work out a deal depending on how many and what kind of shape they are in.
Thanks
I dont think I have any antlers that are not bleached from sun at this time, but I will check. Deer season starts in a few months and we have some big bucks, so the future looks good. Im in no hurry, so I will see what I have.

I have a medium base spike and a decent size 6 point rack. You may only be able to use one side on the 6 point because the other side was marked up pretty bad when it was cut off. Everything else I have is both bleached from the sun and squirrels have chewed them up…
