Any action this past weekend?

Would love to hear some reports, I stayed in for various reasons…

me and the pops in law went out on murray friday night.we didn’t get away from the women in time to make it to get fresh herring so we used some dead ones from a couple days before going for stripers and/or catfish. put in at the dam, just a few boats not many marks so we went up lake to the first islands. we marked fish EVERYWHERE, unfortunately, we also marked bait fish EVERYWHERE.

we ended up coming back to the dam around 12:30 and there were NO boats and a couple fish marks.

at the dock around 1am with no strikes. talked to a couple other dudes and they shared the same report.

I’ll be out there Saturday morning if nothing comes up between now and then.

MY DAD CAUGHT ONE TUESDAY A.M. AND MOM CAUGHT 2 IN THE P.M. FISH WERE CAUGHT OVER ON THE SWIMMING AREA. I MIGHT GO OUT TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY A.M. I’LL LET Y’ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENS.

i hope to get out a couple times this week. fingers are crossed. at better bait at 7:45 for some herring, across the dam to the sceg launch at 8:01 since they close the $ collection at 8 and i’m a cheap bastard. :sunglasses:

Saturday morning …caught 1 keeper in front of Spence Island…several small fish…missed a couple…all on downrods…fishing in the morning only…have not tried the afternoon fishing yet…

It is getting so hot…not sure how long the fishing will hold up…
