I picked up a Tarpon 140 (2 ram tubes on the back slide tracks, scotty on the front slide tracks, anchor trolley, and a 6ft. park n’ pole) last Saturday from Time Out last Saturday! It’s ready to fish, but I was wondering what were some good spots to put in? Not asking for anyones honey holes, just wondering what were some good places to put in, and the ghetto ones to avoid. I will probably just go for reds, trout, flounder, and maybe shark or fish in that vicinity. I was just new at kayak fishing and wanted a few pointers.
btw, what size cast net is best? I cant be throwing my 8ft from the yak like I do in the surf!
