Any Herring at The Dam (Murray)

Anyone seen any herring around the ramps or rocks at the dam I would like to catch a few tonight to fish with.

It is a lot easier to to get herring from David at the Dam. That way you help a fellow MSC supporter who provides bait all year round for many of us.

I know it is but David wont be there at 1am when I get off of work or I would gladly buy it from him. Believe me I know it is easier to buy it than catch it.

There is alot there right off the ramp in the little pocket made by the jetty and the floating dock but is very small right now.

Nope our fish were gone. Tough day for some but another great tx. Think we finished 12th with a 7 and 8# fish. Winners had a 31 and 19# 2nd had 19 and 21# and 3rd had big fish of the tx with a 39#. That makes 2 yrs in a row the big fish for the may tx has been 39#. Next SBCC and 1st of tge new season is in dec. Start making your plans…ha…we need more boats from murray.

This is probably a little late but we caught bait for the DNR tournament and the day before the tournament off the bank. The size hasn’t been great but for cutbait fishing it has been good enough. I didn’t even have to use the boat to get to it and it didn’t take very many throws to get 12-15 dozen.
