My niece is visiting from North Carolina and really has never “wet a line” before. Any general areas where I could put her on some Whiting? She’d probably get bored hunting for Trout or Flounder. I appreciate any help.
Lately Breech Inlet seems to be hot on whiting, also shade under the bridge, and good restaurant near by…

if the weather is nice go to a nearshore reef right outside the jetties and she will as many undersized Black sea bass as she can stand, thus wearing her out quickly and getting home to a cold one

I thought about that, but she wanted to catch 2 or 3 fish to keep and clean/cook herself. That’s why I thought about Whiting.
usually you can catch some whiting and sharks right by Ft. Sumter this time of year or anywhere around the jetties.
