any info on these boats?

hello all, i am currently searching for a used 06 -newer 10 -14k flats boat, and came across a 1520cc kew west and was wondering if anyone had experience with them. actual draft w/ 2 people or how it poles, pros and cons etc…? i also came across some new boats by inshorepowerboats with looks like a sister company of eastcapecanoe that have a very good price? any info is greatly appreciated.

IPB. kev, marc, and adam are 1st class. call em and chat. for the $, the IPB cant be touched. If you can dream it, they’ll build it.
they are modular…id get a tiller and a front platform…although that duck hunting one they did is killer. videos on their site

nothing wrong with the keywest
charleston boat center use to sell the inshore skiffs, and if I remeber correctly, they had some issues. seems like they changed management or something, so maybe the issues have been solved
I might be a little biased, but have you seen these…

Chris,

Can you get the boat with a tiller. 15ft boat space is at a premium.
Can you have tiller handle motor to open up space?

I’ve been looking in that range for a while too. Used is definately the way to go. I think you also have to decide if you want a true poling/micro-skiff like the ipb or a flats boat like the key west. A flats boat is probably more practical in Charleston but I like the true poling or microskiffs better. From what I’ve read, the Key West flats boats are great and there are always some on the market. But with a microskiff, you can fish where no one else will be. FloridaSportsman Boatstore website seems to have the most boats but you can find some locally. I like any of the hewes hpx’s, East Cape Canoe (ECC) Caimen or Lostmen, Beavertail, or older Hells Bay. There are lots of good brands (look at the boat reviews on microskiff.com), but the higher number of these brand boats for sale results in better prices. I currently fish a custom-classic gheenoe.

medgar
yes, its available in tiller
I will have a tiller here in a few days, as soon as the trailer is ready
