Sorry not a report… just a question for the experts…

The wife and I are headed to St Thomas VI in June. Planning to charter atleast for a full day. Anybody been there and can recommend someone? Thanks for any info you can provide.

Great marlin bite on the north drop on the full or new moon, full is better.

i went 3 years ago in june on the Bluefin II out of Red Hook fished the north drop and pulled off a big blue the capt said wahoo and blackfin were good in june but i was set on a big one we caught a few small tunas which we used for bait also
Boat was slow and a little old but capt Don knows his stuff down there you may also want to check out the MarlinPrince it was drydocked when i was there but seemed to be the most talked about boat

The best local boat is Marlin Prince for sure. Lots of private boats down there.

Just got back from a cruise. I fished in St. Thomas with Double Header Sportfishing. We had a blast and I would recommend them to anyone. We fished one of the 35ft CC with Chris.

I would book a boat at Red Hook like Marlin Prince, Revenge or Abigail and fish 2 to 3 days before the full moon. Last year there was an incredible blue marlin bite, with the best bite being in Septmeber.I believe the bigger blues show up early in the season so you might see some nice fish.

No Excuse is a Spencer for charter.
