I think these critters would be lots of fun to create at home but seeing as though I’ve already bought all new everything I’m not wanting to spend any more than necessary. I won’t be doing anything overly complicated and no tiny stuff.
Any advice?

If you have one of those vises, how do you like it? i’ve been using one of the Terra vises (which I think is a pretty good deal for the money) but I’m thinking about upgrading.

I haven’t seen a bad review for them. If the Dyna-King breaks, I will try one.

</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>Michael Gracie. You may find a trend with my posts. To quote the philosopher Dale Gribble, when asked if he wanted a cup of coffee, his response was, “Going the other way… thank you.”
So, with fly tying, there are lots of people who can point you in the direction of buying (spending) more. I’m going the other way… thank you. “Sha-shaa!”
Here is where I found Michael’s vise. Don’t know him but, at least the boy isn’t just following.
http://michaelgracie.com/2011/01/31/the-957-fly-tying-vise/He used “store-bought” wood. My vise would be cheaper.
Thanks for all the help people. I think one of those Tera vises is the ticket. Wish they had them at the Mt P angler. I need to check Hadrells or Scotty’s shop.
I think Scotty has one or I can send the one I have to the Mt P shop… lemme know…

I’ve had my Danica for years now. I love it. it’s served me well from tying fresh water down to about size 20 all the way up to 2/0 for salt.

I use a Danvise and it’s great. Well worth the money. I’ve wanted to upgrade to a Dynaking Barracude for years but the Danvise won’t break.

Dyna-king Cuda is sweet, but like you said it’s hard to kill a danvise!
