Just wondering if anyone has been and would like to give an update on the action up there lately?

Biting pretty good. Fished Tuesday and today. About every boat was catching Shad each day.
Any roe’s being caught?

About half were roes.
went yesterday. Went 16 for 30. 6 big roe.
They are there. Roe are showing up. Went 20 for 30 or so over a couple hours last weekend. All bucks to be fed to bull reds, sharks, and any other large ocean creatures come summer. The circle of life. I hope the freezer doesn’t kick the bucket while I’m out of town for an extended period.
Do you guys eat the ROE?

Is anyone still catching them? Was heading out this weekend and considered taking my buddy and our kids but the kids get a little impatient at times. I usually head out a day or two before to scope it out but I don’t have that luxury this weekend.
