Oct 1 tomorrow; anybody seeing signs of the rut to begin?

I had a 8,7,6 walk out if front of me on Sunday evening eating acorns with in 15 feet of eachother and showed no interst in anything else they had does up wind of them 75 yards or so. They are certianly scraping and starting all that business up but havent seen one out “cruising” yet.

A little late, but yesterday morning (12 Oct) I had two different 6 points chasing does around in the water for almost three hours. Those crazy young bucks where love drunk. This coming weekend with the cooler temps will have even bigger ones love drunk too.
