I’ve noticed that whenever I’m spooling up braided line (say, a braid that is supposed to be equivalent to 20# diameter), I’m never able to get the full amount of line on it.
Most of our braids come in 125 or 150 yard spools. Even on rods without a mono backer, I always seem to end up with a good 30 or 40 yards of line left over, when in the past the reel seemed to take a lot more mono of the same diameter.
I still love using Power Pro and love how long it lasts and casts, but I fear the day I actually hang something rather large on my rod and I end up needing those leftover 30-40 yards that I had hoped I’d get on there.
Anyone at a tackle shop— where you are actually counting the line— notice this? I don’t have a line counter so I really can’t say for sure.
Moral judgment under girds the entire structure of laws and is necessary for the rational structure of any significant statute. The idea that our laws can stand independent of moral foundation is senseless.----- Albert Mohler.
