They are here already. I hooked one a couple weeks ago on my trout rod. He jumped six times before he spooled me.
Absolutely wasn’t expecting a tarpon.

that’s awesome. Best part of tarpon fishing is the first few jumps anyway!

I guess you hooked it down around the Broad River?

I was fishing back in a little creek off of St. Helena Sound. Absolutely not where I’d expect a tarpon hook up but he was there. Since I’ve returned to that spot I’ve only managed to catch about a four foot bonnet head (which I released).
