It was fender tied to an anchor and a chum bag. My fishing buddy was in the middle grounds and when I called for him to pick me up in Shem Creek, he left the fender/rope/anchor near the middle grounds hoping to draw in the sharks and he left it to come pick me up. When we got back to the spot about 30 minutes later, someone had picked up the fender. I’m assuming they got the anchor and chain too.
My friend would really like to get it back.
So…if you happened across a fender near the middle grounds on 6-22-13 between 12:30 and 1:00pm and you found it was tied to an anchor with chain and chum bag and would like to return the equipment to my friend…drop me a line at camelclub76@gmail.com or send me a PM.
Thanks.

Capt, it was pretty close to slack tide…pretty sure it was picked up. It cost my friend $145 to replace everything.

Mary Lee probably took it and the anchor is still there.
