Anybody know how the Big or Little Rivers...

Look right now?

Behind the scenes reports are people are doing well (numbers & size) in both …

Water quality is typical, but not nearly as bad as it was last year (when the lake was down and we had all that rain) …

Heading up this weekend, but doubt I’ll “post” anything until after the 10th …

Unless it’s made a dramatic change in the past few weeks. We’ve done better down lake around bait. Fish in the rivers had lock jaw. Cold weather could have changed everything.

I fished it Friday. It was dingy and trashy in places, but not unfishable. We did not get as much rain as I thought this past weekend; so for now it should be very doable. There are plenty of quality fish up there, but the bite was a little slow.

I was speaking of Little River Sully. I haven’t been up toward Kempsons in a while.

Thanks guys!

Wasn’t sure what the rain this past weekend would do to the rivers.

Also, not sure what these temps are going to do either. I know the rivers seem to get colder quicker and it gets to a certain temp where the fish don’t seem to want to bite.

As long as you and Shawn fish down by the towers for the Jan TX then you (we) should be alright …

Well Rick…probably anything I learned for us this past Saturday is out the window with the rain today and the next couple of days and the continued cold temps.

Guess I will have to try to fish Friday to figure out where fish are or just wing it on Saturday.

I hear ya … I’ll post a report (since it doesn’t really matter) under an new thread …
