Anybody tried Hummingbird's Side Imaging sonar?

Wondering how it works with Charleston’s big tides? Anypne tried it at the jetties? See any fish? How about around docks of bridges? See any fish? Any help would be great>

I have a good friend that has the big, expensive model ($2000) that he never used and is willing to sell it for $500. If you’re interested, send me a PM and I will contact him for you. It should work better in deeper water than the inshore areas, and I think it would be great for lake fishing.

Left you a VM. My friend in the business is very high on the machine. You may need to give it extra protection from the salt spray. He has used it to help search for bodies. He says you will spend more time looking than fishing(not likely). He has been trying to sell me one for a year.

why would you say that? I find schools of sptails at top end of the tide along the grassline on waterway (2-4’ ?) all the time that wouldnt otherwise be seen.

You can see schools of spottails in the grass? Holy Moley! Are you serious? What unit do you have?
