Anybody trying out the water today

Getting ready to head to the Cooper. Hope they are biting, going to be trying Mud minnows on the popping cork, on the bottom as well as some trout trick and other artificals

Rough night. We’ll be picking up some fiddlers and heading out there for a little while.

My son Elliott and I fished for a few hours this afternoon. It was pretty windy and the water temperature was still a chilly 49-51 degrees. Trout bite was slow but managed 10 or so on Z-Man StreakZ 3.75 on 1/8 ounce jigs and MinnowZ Bad Shad on 1/4 ounce jigs. All the Trout were deep.

Switched to shallow water as the tide fell. Found a school of Redfish that were most cooperative. Pretty good day for such tough conditions.

We had a slow day, temp was around 51-53 caught one red around 28 inches and a undersized trout. Fished a couple of hour before high tide as well as a couple hours outgoing.
