Been laid off for 5 weeks and I just got a new job. Just wondering what the fish are doing with the cold weather. Have they moved up lake, back of creeks, mouths. I want to get out this weekend and all I have is a trolling motor so I want to launch close to fishing. I appreciate any help.
Negative bro! Finally just gave up and turned trailer trash into a runabout…If the ocean will lay down I might try it there. Heard some stories on freelines off of points though, just muddle through the shorties as usual.

I haven’t been out since my last report, but I plan on giving it a try Sat night after watching the cocks whoop up on bama 
. Gonna troll the big water after dark. It’s cooled off a bit lately, but the summer weather lasted longer than usual, so hopefully they haven’t moved on and there are a few stragglers still out there.
In any case, it looks like it’s going to be one beautiful night to be on the lake.

I have already put up the striper gear, pulled out the bottom fishin gear for the ledge and the crappie rods… caught 4 nice slabs last friday probably 1.5# each along with some 4" fish…lol… i will let you know when i start catching the stripes up lake.
I went out tuesday evening and trolled the big water. Did not mark as much on the fishfinder as I did the week before this cold front came through. Did not catch anything. It was windy and cold, but still better than sitting at home.
