Anyone ever been to SEMA?

I think I might head over to Vegas and check this thing out. Apparently its the place to be this week. Anyone been?

That would be a huge tease! Some pretty exotic stuff should be there.

Not open to the general public as far as I know.

Think I could get in if I slip the guy a $20?

Use your PS skills and make you a badge

Never underestimate the power of the lanyard…

What’s the over/under on me just showing up and talking my way into this? Think I have a 50/50 shot or no chance at all?

All you had to do was Register as an Attendee and pay $40.00.

My guess is security is rampant.

You sure that’s not just for the after show? My understanding is it is closed to vendors, media, etc. only. Kind of like the PGA Golf show in Florida and other auto shows. They usually have general public days, but nothing like the actual show.

The SEMA web site offers Attendee badges for $40.It also says that it’s not open to the General Public? Guess if you pay, you’re not General anymore:question:

No, you have to register and get an attendee badge. You have to furnish documents proving you are a vendor or media or other authorized business.

Hilton Head - unofficial shark bite capital of the world.

I was out there last year when it was going on for another conference, lots of cool stuff and a pile of people in town for it.

So…I happened to get in and snap a few pics…

Cool pics, must have been a blast!

That is awesome! I could spend a whole week looking at stuff there.

Bucket list right here for gear heads. That’s cool you were able to get a media pass. How did you get hooked up?

We can talk about it over a beer one day. I can’t let my inside hookup out on a public forum.
