They say they are comparable to Stone Crab!
I would consider them a cheaper option for them. I have only seen them come in frozen not fresh and they can be ordered split or cut so they can be eaten with relative ease. Someone that eats and loves crab could tell the difference flavor wise, they have a softer, less dense meat and tend to be watery due to being frozen.
