Looks like the tides may be weaker than predicted. Was that the case last nite?
I am going to try and give it a go tonite.
Chris.
Gonna try tomorrow night… I hope they aren’t too much weaker than expected…

let us know how you do tonight…
No water. flat never flooded.
1802 Action Craft. 115 yamaha.
I went out in the wando Friday thru Sunday night. Saw 2 tails Friday, about 7 Saturday and none Sunday, though I couldn’t land any on the fly. Had a couple good casts right in front of a couple reds and they wanted nothing to do with it. At least i catch a couple reds on manhaden Friday and Sunday.
Down in Beaufort, went out last night (Sunday) with a buddy of mine, plenty of water, came across plenty of tails…but neither one of us could get them on the fly…both of us had strikes at the fly…but they didn’t take it.
Water came in much higher and faster than predicted…and water was still coming in past the predicted time…it just got too dark for us to see anything.
Waded a flat last night… water came in beautifully… no tails… sun goes down even more and right after the sun slipped behind the trees I saw my first tail… quick roll and gone… walked down more and started seeing a few here and there but it was one tail flip and gone… got a few shots on some despite the wind but no takers… VERY weird start to the tailing season… seein them but they are not acting like they have in the past… I’ll keep on 'em. Great evening of fishing with friends.
