Sure gonna try on Sunday, Happy Bob has my boat and will hopefully be done so I can get it Saturday. Planning on going up around the gap and maybe up a little bit to accapoulco area see about some stripers and a few cats. I am usually on 72. Big blue triton cc with the riggers on da roof

Fishing sunday with sharky,putting in at state park. Still undecided about what area to fish.Marked alot of fish last week around buffolo creek,but no takers.
I fished last Saturday on a point back in buffalo in 30’ of water. I was on fish for three hours with a couple short hits. The screen was loaded from the bottom to the top most of the time. I blamed the cold front and the wind. Plus I dont seem to do very good at night this time of year. Except at the towers when the wind cooperates, which is rare in the winter.
This is my first winter fishing and it has been horrible for me. Whenever the weather warms up I hope to have some better luck trolling.
Anyone ever tried using skirts and daisy chains/birds for striper? Just curious if they would bite at it.

Winters are tough for me too. If you are out there on the right day it’s good. But not being able to choose my days based on weather makes it tough. Any kind of front comes through and I cant buy a hit. should be good on Sunday. Hopefully Saturday night too.

I fished up in Ballentine and found small schools of fish on a couple points. Ended up trying to fish the towers after dark. The wind was supposed to ease up at 7, but it got worse. I ended up with four shorts.
tom did you catch your shorts in ballentine or the towers chasing specks on tuesday and trying stripes thur fri tight lines
Two at each spot. There was probably 1000 birds in the mouth of ballentine when I left. I went right through the middle of them and did not read any fish. I would have searched around there a little more, but with the strong SW wind, that was not the place to be.
