anyone gone striper fishn from a yak?

Has anyone gone to lake moultrie and fished for stripers from a yak? if so any luck?

I’ve done it once this year when I was up there with Scouts. I had one fish peel off drag without a hookup. It should get interesting up there in the next few eeks with some cooler nights.

i heard around october is the best time for stripers in moultrie. Never caught one before and its on my list to catch before i leave the charleston area in 2012 along with lots of reds, trout and i would love to catch a tarpon from my yak.

Stripers trout and reds are pretty easy goals for the area. Tarpon you’ve got a much better shot if you head to Fl for a trip.

I’m still hoping to get my first stripper in a kayak.

Is there room on that yak for a pole Jordan? Or is she just gonna dance on the bow?

Sorry Jordan. I’m not the grammer police, but I saw a chance to bust some chops for a laugh and took it.

Miley Cyrus put a stripper pole on an Ice Cream cart for the Teen Choice awards, so why not put one on a yak?

I set that one up intentionally. Glad everyone caught it so quickly.
